Submission by FIACAT for the next report of the United Nations Secretary-General on the question of the death penalty to the 24th session of the Human Rights Council

This report aims to inform the UN Secretary-General on the enforcement of the death penalty since April 2012 in some African countries where members of the FIACAT network are operating.
It was submitted for the next report of the Secretary General of the UN on the issue of the death penalty to be presented at the 24th session of the UN Human Rights Council in September 2013.

It includes information on the death penalty in Benin, Burundi, the Gambia, Madagascar, Central African Republic and Senegal on the activities of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the death penalty.
