A graduate in international public law and international administration of the Université Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne, Sabrina Aït-Aoudia worked as a volunteer for Human Rights Watch in New York on human rights violations in Kosovo.
Following two internships at the UNDP in New York, she worked for six years in a Melbourne-based international organisation, International Outlook Inc, specialising in conflict resolution. As Programme Director, Sabrina was mainly responsible for projects to help the victims of terrorism and to strengthen civil society groups in Algeria.
On her return to France in 2008, Sabrina worked as a legal officer with the Human Rights League, where she was co-author of a practical guide for victims of police violence. From 2009 to 2011, she was Administrative and Financial Director at the Association for Research and Treatment Against Cancer, ARTAC.
Sabrina joined FIACAT at the beginning of 2012 to concentrate again on the interest - the defence of human rights - which had first motivated her involvement with civil society in Algeria at the age of 16.
