FIACAT’s Concerns on the Death Penalty in 2011

The purpose of this report is to provide the Secretary-General of the United Nations with information that FIACAT has obtained on the use of the death penalty since January 2011 in certain African countries where members of its network work (Bénin, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo).

Its purpose is also to alert the Secretary-General of the United Nations to FIACAT’s main concerns about the death penalty in 2011.
