The 46th session of the Committee against torture took place from 9 May to 3 June 2011, in Geneva.

States, in which an ACAT exist, that have submitted their reports on the application of the Convention against Torture and will be examinated in May 2011 are :


The examination by the UN Committee Against Torture of the initial report of Ghana takes place on 16th and 17th May 2011 in Geneva .

FIACAT represented ACAT Ghana during this session and transmitted its concerns on the situation of torture and ill-treatment in the country to the Committee’s experts.
