Belgium reviewed by the Committee against torture, November 2008

The Committee Against Torture held its 41th session in Geneva, from 3 to 21 November 2008.

States, in which an ACAT exist, that submitted a report on the application of the Convention against Torture are :

Belgium

The examination by the UN Committee Against Torture of the second periodic report of Belgium tookth place on 12th and 13th November 2008.

FIACAT represented ACAT Belgium during this session and transmitted its concerns on the situation of torture and ill-treatment in the country to the Committee’s experts.
