On the occasion of the examination of the 8th, 9th and 10th Periodical Reports from the Democratic Republic of Congo during the 48th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR), FIACAT, an NGO with Observer Status to the ACHPR since 1991, presented to the Commissioners an alternative report – available in French – containing reliable, verified information about violations of Articles 4, 5 and 6 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

All the information in the report was gathered by the ACAT DRC, an association affiliated to FIACAT since 2008 and present in six Provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa, Kasaï-Oriental, Katanga, Province-Orientale, Nord-Kivu and Sud-Kivu).
