Together with filmmaker Tim Robbins, Sr Helen Prejean, author of the book Dead Man Walking, Mike Farrell (Death Penalty Focus), Souhayr Belhassen (FIDH) and Michel Taube (Coalition mondiale) launched an appeal from New York to support the proposed UN resolution imposing a freeze on executions.
